The Long Awaited Dream

Last night as did fall to sleep, I dreamed a dream I'd long awaited for I dreamed of Helen
I had sprayed my pillow with her perfume before going to sleep, In my dream I awoke to open my eyes to see Helen there, stood over me she looked like a Angel, she had that sparkle one has
when young In her eyes, beautiful smile
It was my chance to 
tell her I was sorry and asked her forgiveness, for failing to be there when she passed on
but Helen said she hadn't wanted me to witness her passing
Helen told me she was happy now free 
of pain, and asked If I'd mind her staying a while longer I replied you stay as long as need be then I awoke to find It all but a dream
But a dream that help me, for I was able to know she ok
where she Is and that she has forgiven me.
