The person in a dream little claire

I had the same dream every night the person standing there was me .

She looked so much like me but the look in her eyes I was convinced she wasn't me.

The girl with tears in her eyes the unhappiness I could feel it inside.

So much pain I just wanted to grab it and take it all away I felt so drawn to her but didn't know why.

Then suddenly backtracked​ 30 years on then I realized .

That little girl was me I was the big girl now who talked to little girl little Claire .

With my words chosen so carefully so much emotion in my voice how would I help little claire.

She explained the truma night after night in my dreams .

I took her hand and wiped her tears I'd say be free let your fears rained down on me .

I took her fears and held them tight I'd whisper softly I'm here for you I lay by your side every single night.

Watching her like a hawk I will give you my courage I will give you my hope and also I will give you my strong voice when you feel you like your losing your hope.

I stood by your side and held your hand when your word tumbled out of your mouth and you said no .

It stops today your not hurting me no more I heard little Claire wisperd in her sweet soft voice.

We stood strong together as I wiped that tear dripping down your cheek with teddy Pippa clutched tight in your arms.

No more abuse no more lies your now free little Claire I wisperd it's just you and me .

So whenever​ you doubt you did the wrong thing rember how strong you felt with big Claire by your side now as you grow and grow .

You rember that courage that big Claire gave you now in her dreams .

big Claire relives little Claire's nightmares everynight in her dreams she now so much older but she goes back everynight to being little Claire with amazing therapy one day big Claire and little Claire will be free.
