Destiny

Destiny

I saw her sorrow
in the window
of my mind

Surreal
as though
I was part
of the page
left unturnedΒ

Content known
as it became the
main artery
to my perspective
of morality

Funny how
Β from the beginning that
we take our first breath
we are controlled
by the society that
reigns over us

It is only in death
does our spirit
once again isΒ
freed fromΒ
enslavement

While most
are comforted
in handing over
the rightΒ
of free thought
The true activist
to individualityΒ
It is torment
it is hell

I walk the road
left unpaved
as this
where I find destiny
