Down In the Dunes

Back in the day,
she was
so much like
a new china doll,
and certainly
no less delicate ..
At first,
I thought I might
even break her ..
Just like
I once broke
the backs
and the spines
of all those
ever so fragile
sea creatures
which lived in
the sand where
we played
and so often,
made love ..
Yes right here,
between
these same
wind
rippled dunes ..
When our
breathing got
heavy
and laboured ..
My word,
how we were
then
magnificently
overcome
and with such
delirious
yet unselfish
abandon ..
Back in those
good
old days,
when we were
still so very young ..

Hi Neville,Β
I enjoyed this, the imagery is very sensual, those dunes, although sound serene, I bet that sand got into every nook and cranny!!πŸ™ŠπŸ™ˆπŸ™‰
