Poem -

Moon Co

If the moon's eye spied you
It would reflect your natural hue,
Illuminating something used
To be beautiful, now isn't.
It would leave the memory of horizons
In the mind only.
It would never again be morning.

If it spied you you wouldn't be you.
Only the fence that separates
An attempt at making sense
Guard against what scathes you being studied,
As the moon would do.
In effect it eats you like a whole off egg.
Lights you as the sun never used to!

Sounds to me as a struggle between light and dark, your imagery is wonderful. Love your last line 🌹
