Poem -

Strong hearts aren't forever

It takes a strong heart,
But strong hearts don't last
Forever.

A start is a start,
But the heart pumps
Lessen with Intensity over the course of the myre.

Lugging body,
Luggage carried round
I suit to knowing

Little as the moon knows,
Jealous of the sun! who can
Secret all going-on's of a world screened from my eyes

By the draw of it's curtain.
I must at least try to wield not sheath
The sword of prayer.

I must have known,
If only for not hiding knowing
From myself,

Latent as a patient obstructed
By nothing.
Or perhaps The tree

Would have only known?
Do you see it in the mind, terrible as if lasting the fat
Black heart out, completely!

How ghastly to Invision life everlasting,
All those hooks
And crannies.

The will to mistake the heart for what I wish
Is not my own.
Rather I move along morning,

A brand of feathers fixed brighter to my wings.
I exhibit this entirely.

Wow Rory, a bit Shakespearian if you don't mind me saying so, I think it's quite fabulous sir, has a heart on a sleeve and you have mentioned some of my most favourite characters, your last two lines gushing here, I wonder angel or eagle! I love this. 🌹 Hooks and crannies or nooks and crannies? Just curious 🧐 big hearts from me tonight ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Too kind, Harrison. And yes to your question, hooks is right. Thank you for saying though. I can see it now, almost Shakespeare inspired. I like your feedback. Cheers rabbit ears

This is about knowing nothing? Fearing everything? Imagining anything? ...and in the end being too worn out to care...
