Poem -

unrequited love

In shadows of the night, thy visage gleams,
A haunting vision, woven in my dreams.
Thine eyes, they burn like distant, fervent flame,
Yet in thy heart, I bear no whispered name.

I cry thy name into the void’s embrace,
A silent echo, heart’s desolate space.
Thou walk’st away, without a backward glance,
Leaving me ensnared in this twisted dance.

Oh, agony of love, thy cruel delight,
A fire that sears, a wound in endless night.
So I raise my fist to the heavens above,
To the torment and the pangs of unrequited love.
