Poem -

Morning

I wanted her just that little bit more
Than I did yesterday because another

Man wanted her also.

I was in a stripe club and broke before

The sun was up.

I walked home, the morning humidity

Opening my pores for the gin to come

   out.

Through the door and into bed.

I only imagined how the next fortnight

Would look; I couldn't afford food,

I didn't know how I was going to pay rent.

But I guessed I would never set foot

In that strip club again.

This... what a universal feeling you have conveyed in your own unique style R. Life's hangover. Hopelessness with balls. A beauty x
