Chasing Rainbows

Chasing Rainbows

I've been chasing rainbows all my lifeĀ
chasing the warmth and happinessĀ
that one feels
when they are within all the bright coloursĀ
of acceptance and unconditional love
I've been chasing these rainbows, alas

I've yet to find one of my own.
