A METAPHORICAL MINEFIELD
 

Looks idyllic doesn't it?

A little patch of land, surrounded by green.

Vegetable patches, a pond, a hammock

but it's threatened by what's as yet unseen.

 

The mists in the distance

are a harbinger of what's to come.

They conceal the armies of destruction

and it may be too late for me to run
