Funny faces, decomposed.
A sigh keeps me out,
But I hear a broken chord of Intimacy.
My notes stuck to pages in my Throat.
I drained my veins to breath here,
I worked my tools, silenced my Shivers to be heard.
I smile with my eyes,
Rosemary memories.
You hate me for my name.
Want to pluck me down with your Hands, kick out foundations
But you still smile as you pass,
I only see shadow.
Sitting on a cold bench.
Surrounded by children parading as Adults with your playground politics.
I smile inwardly, knowingly,
Happily alone in false company.

I read this several times and I got the feeling it's about exclusion ..maybe bullying...cracking write ?
Spot on! Namely about exclusion, the sort that lurks under a seemingly smiling face. Thank you so much, I’m glad you like it!! ?
About lurking in the shadows of exclusion, if you are feeling like this, you should read my friend's poem: To the moon.
This is a well written piece. The words have been used to excellent effect in conveying the loneliness one feels beneath the surface x
Thank you so much! :) x
