Just out of reach

Of North Sea safety

Noise pollution

From seismic surveys

Military exercises

Ships and boats

Conspired to cause confusion

And strand and sink

On coastal flats

30 tons of bone and fat

Failed organs filled with toxins

From oil and chemical

Spills and sewage

Time for us to ring the tocsin

As I write it’s still alive

But there’s little chance

It will survive
