Poem -

24/24 HRS

You walked away
Out of your own life.
You didn’t think twice;
Guess that’s your sacrifice.

We aren’t the same.
You take the blame.
Can’t handle the heat,
But you can take the pain.

I know I lied
Maybe once or twice.
How was I meant to know
That you can’t take the blow

Sitting in the same seat.
Always in the backseat.
And I know I can’t speak,
But you can’t be weak.
