A BABY'S DEVELOPMENT

A baby learning to walk is a funny old thing
So much happiness to the family it can bring
Then the first words start to appear
All in gobbledygook but the family want to hear

After all that it's time for the arrival of teeth
The family breathe a huge sigh of relief
The baby is no more but now actually a child
Off to school and no doubt running wild

The child soon vanishes and a teenager comes
School is harder with science and sums
The family long for the baby life once more
Growing up so fast that's for sure
