A Breath of Spring

Tiny green buds begin to form upon the limbs, radiant colors of tulips, deep purple, goldenrod, red ruby

The daffodils so brilliant, they reach up to say hello, the violets, velvet, sprinkle a taste of beauty, the  blue bells

Speak to the running waters, as the small fruits of wild berries begin to shape, black, blue, red raspberry, strawberry

As I smell the mushroom patch, under the old pin oaks, where deer tracks, and raccoon tracks, imprint the wet soil

The trees, will soon have children of their own, pears, apples, cherries, mulberries, the fruits that quench the flesh

A breath of spring, the new beginning, the life of new born robins, sparrows song, the cardinals call to their mates

Where the bunnies, run free, they play hide and seek, and the call of the wild takes hold, of the fox, wolf, and her pups

To run in the green of the grass, to pick the fragrance of the lavender lilac, the fruit trees in bloom, the blossoms of tiny clouds

Softness, sweetness, forgivingness, all singing a happy song, the honey bees, find the dandelion's, and the pansies, with their painted faced pedals 

To know love, to know a new birth, to breathe the sensation of time, the rain as it kisses the morning, and the sun, that brightens each day, so divine, so embracing, so very fresh
