These Eyes of Yours
Through the darkest of days I can see the light in your eyes
in my most troubled desperate moments I feel comfort in your eyes
These eyes of yours know my pain and heal my wounds with deepest passion
The blue of the oceans hue saves me from drowning in my tears
Our souls touch and together we rise with the tide
I feel safe in your arms as I look deep into your eyes
Your eyes make me lust for the heat of my body begging for affection
In the mirrors of my mind I see your face and I feel your heart beat next to mine
Your sexy blue topaz eyes penetrate my inner thighsÂ
These eyes of yours see me for who I am not what I could be
Your eyes make me high on life and wanting more

The two lines I really like in your poem are "the blue of the ocean's hue ................ we rise with the tide." What I like is that you continue the metaphor of the ocean with the use of drowning and tide and I like it when the theme for a metaphor is expanded on.Â
The other line is the one about the topaz eyes penetrating my inner thighs. I like the internal rhyme of that line. It brings to mind the denim blue eyes I have used. What is it about blue eyes?Â

Thank you for your comments and I have blue eyes as well, I think the color is meant to be like the ocean deep drifting thoughts into the universe!!! Something like that! Lol
Best Wishes Nancy
Yvw. I'll settle for that description. Perfecto.Â
All the best

Hi, Nancy, I so get this, though my love's eyes that have saved me countless times, are more of a greyish blue ocean with a starlike corona around the pupils. I always fall asleep in her arms, soothing as they be, instead of all other designs I had or craved. She in her turn does the same. Glad to have started a search on mystic poetry, leading me to you. Keep at itđź’Ş
