The Ordinary Man is a Great Man

Time remembers KingsÂ
And oftenÂ
Forgets the quiet hands that built the Kingdoms wingsÂ
Is life only worth LivingÂ
With Jewels and a crown?
Or is a Life worth living in virtueÂ
Lifting others instead of pushing them down.
The mere sweeping of a broomÂ
Becomes holy, a humble signÂ
Honest and steady
A man who lives rightÂ
All the timeÂ
Woe to the one who seeks quick wealthÂ
By stealing, lies, and force
He wounds his own people as he climbsÂ
He kills his spirit following that courseÂ
Life is a journey in which some rise highÂ
While others fallÂ
Yet we walk this path as oneÂ
It’s a story about us AllÂ
Some days are good
Some days are hardÂ
Each Man on our path is a teacherÂ
Each soul becomes a reacherÂ
There is no room for hatred
When it is love that we serveÂ
And though some push us to the groundÂ
Life remains a gift we don’t deserveÂ
The future will hardly think of usÂ
Just the as we hardly look behindÂ
So be grateful for every breath of lifeÂ
Each moment is one God designedÂ
For the greatest King of KingsÂ
Is not the one that has been crownedÂ
But rather the humble Man who rules himselfÂ
And lives to serve his brother
