A Broken Heart
This empty vessel
of faded flowers
and broken stars,
holds fast in the void
between every heartbeat,
all the years choking grief
and unhealed scars.
Forged by the flow
of loveĀ“s blood and ill,
across the realms of time
until the heart is still.
