A Bursting Dam, An Ocean of Words

From here on I put the scalpel away
No more dissecting at your command
I'm letting my thoughts flow as they should
I'm being true and it feels good

Enough of your cutting gaze
We just need life
No more war and no more science
We are done with all the bloody violence

Jesus and God
Frogs and atoms
You made us split eveything asunder
And all it has done is drag us deeper under

Through quill and qwerty key
The colonials have conquered
Your scholasticism gave birth to schism
You flattened the earth and stopped it's rhythm

By hook and crook the moogleys ripped through
And catalogued in chapters and books
You tore our beloved homechild apart
Its hair; its skin; its meat; its bone...

right down to its arrested heart

I refuse to let my ideas die
Can't limit their length
Can't sever their connection
I defy all constraints on their resurrection

For they're our dreaming filled with ancestors
Who live inside one another
Each layer compels us to return
Thus, to make us deny a single thought...

is like lighting a wildfire so you can watch us burn

So that's why we're putting the scalpel away today
No more dissecting at your command, understand?
We're letting our thoughts flow freely as they always should
We're being true to our soul and it feels...

so flasking good!
