A CLOSER LOOK
The world would tell you
That a woman is the symbol of love
That she loves the deepest and the strongestÂ
Maybe for once the world is right
Sensitivity, understanding, compassion and kindnessÂ
Flows from a woman's heart with ease
She was created with those diamond like qualitiesÂ
And given a charge to loveÂ
In the face of emotional scares
In the face of abandonment and disappointmentsÂ
She never ceases to be a womanÂ
She never stumbles on loveÂ
She is like a fresh flowing springÂ
Her heart mirrors the love of GodÂ
Her voice has healing in each word
She sees the intent of your actionsÂ
She understands your unspoken words
The world is a better placeÂ
Because of her unwavering strength through her strugglesÂ
Her calmness in chaos, wisdom in provocationÂ
And her ability to love despite her tears.
