A DANCE WITH NOTHINGNESS

If you have never experienced love 
Then your life is that of a stone
Sitting alone beneath the foothills 
Of loneliness 

The rain beats upon face
But it's substance is tasteless 
Its purpose winked at 

Because you lacked the ability 
To recognized the source of love 
From which the rain came

Love was conceived 
In the heart and mind of God 
Its purpose to declare righteousness 
And express Gods thoughts 
Towards you.. good thoughts and not evil 

Love covers your multitude of sins 
Love shelters you from the storms and rain 
Love cradles you like a baby in the safety 
Of his mothers arm
Love protects you from all dangers, fears and harm

When life tosses you 
In the valley of the shadow of death 
Love dispels all fears 
Comforting the broken-hearted 
And treats you with respect 

In all of life's virtues 
Love is the best
And without the song of love
You are dancing with nothingness.
