A Daughters Daddy đź’•

He holds his daughters warm, wet hand as she paddles in the muddy puddles, barely old enough to stand
Daddy walks for a while looking down at his tiny tot and she toddles really slow, coz his daughters two legs are only little you know
“Daddy, Daddy can we go to the park?”Â
“Her faithful Father gives her a carry , it is a distance to walk
“Daddy, Daddy will you push me on the swing”
Daddy lifts her up on the wooden seat and fastens the chain with a curly hook thing
And he pushes her gently on her soft, small back shouting “Push your legs out and pull them in again, good girl you have got the knack!!”
Then time ticks on by but in the blink of an eye as Dad watches his loving daughter with a teardrop and a sigh
This little lass isn’t little anymore as she shouts “ Mama, Papa I am home” with a huge smile on her face, rushing in the front door
Nowadays her dearest  Daddy is but a twinkle in his daughters eye, as she looks up to the highest heavens and watches those clouds pass by…
