A DIFFERENT BEAST

A life emerges 
From the dark
Watery cocoon 
Of the womb

Full of vigor
Strength and potentials 
A genius held
By feeble hands

Unknown to the world 
But recognized 
By the keen eyes 
Of his peasant mother 
At the first light of birth 

He hibernates himself 
As a teen 
Grazing the wilderness 
Studying the life and times 
Of wild life and insects 

He returns 
To the homestead of humans 
And came to a drastic conclusion..

The intelligences of humans 
Are light years beneath 
The families of the untamed beast

They displayed love and affection 
For each other unconventionally 
They displayed a reference and respect 
For the hierarchy of the pack

While humans kills each other 
Without cause
Hate each other because of
Gender, race, dialect
Or the color of ones skin

And their Creator 
Is dismissed from their thoughts.
