A Falling Affirmative

A Falling Affirmative

Flying home, back to the question
An answer, yes, it needs to be done
Can’t cry, but there may be a storm burst
A monsoon of falling tears, or worst
Freefalling, I am approaching hard ground
Feeling lost, but I am hoping to be found
In amongst this surging living crowd
A silent voice, wanting to scream, loud
A betrayal always needs an affirmative
So YES, here I am, asking you to forgive.
