A few minutes a day

Going to bed with the intentions of only sleeping
The beginning of my head spinning and my heart weeping
Tossing and turning with something not feeling right
Before I know it I've been awake just about all night
Finally feeling sleepy after most of the night has past
With one hour before the alarm sounds I fall asleep at last
Knowing that I'm bothered but never take a moment to pray
I get up, get dressed, cook breakfast, and then I start my day
With God in my heart and blessed to have another day under the sun
I now realize that laying awake all night the devil has won
A few minutes a day with God is all you need to achieve
Just keep in touch with Him everyday and always believe
