A fortune of food ?

A fortune of food ?

What can one do with boredom ?
Twiddle your fingers and twirl two thumbs
Banging beats on a table like your playing the drums
Wishing you were in another place with an awful expression on your face

Boredom is a monotony of a ritual routine
It seems like you’ve been doing it forever if you know what I mean
A discomfort of desolation and it is driving you insane
Such a stalemate of stagnation is becoming a pain

So you turn on the television searching for something to view
but every channel is just repeats with nothing anew
It is raining cats and dogs looks like it is in for the day
There’s not a hint of blue skies only cloudy and grey

Your wearing a hole in the carpet as you are pacing the floor
then from out of the blue there is a knock at your door
A man from Tesco’s is standing muffled up with a hood
Wow you totally forgot about your time slot with a delivery of food

So all of a sudden you are occupied
getting all these groceries has made you satisfied
It doesn’t take very much to make you happy
Just a fortune of food from a very helpful chappy
Even in boredom there is one thing you cannot beat
cupboards full of food with loads to eat
