A girl with 9 lives

A girl with 9 lives

Never stop at red lights
or hesitate to get into fights
A girl with nine lives
always revives

Remember not to wear a seatbelt
All the rules are just misspelt
Or your brain won’t smear the glass
when the car bleeds gas

Balancing on train tracks is just as fun
as playing Russian roulette with a gun
Here comes the train, choo choo!
Quick, now’s your cue!

The prettiest necklace is a noose
Make sure not to tie it loose
Do it right and it’ll leave a bruise
Life and death agree on a truce

That building over there looks nice and high
I’ve always wanted to fly
Grow white wings and sail the sky
or splatter before you manage to try

It’s fun to play with fire
especially when it catches your finger
Screams from an entire choir
I’m quite the singer

Knives are dangerous so keep them close
They cut through comatose
But careful with your dose
or you’ll wither slowly like a rose

The foaming tub looks inviting
An eternal bath with a side of lightning
My life flashes on the wall like writing
until there is nothing

The fish of the sea

You know what they say... "Man makes plans and God laughs" Not that I`m very religious... But I`m back now at least. I just wanted to say I really enjoyed this write a hell of a lot, and am enjoying the stylistic contrast between sweet and sadistic in your work. Makes for extremely unique and engaging poetry, that for one, I can`t get enough of. I`ll be sure to read more in the future. Keep at it!!
