A Good Death

A Good Death

Tiny capsules of bleakness
An endless amount
I'm counting, counting, counting
But I can't keep count

Of everything
Im crying, crying, crying
Red are the tears
Theres too much I'm drowning

Far out at sea
My thoughts too heavy to float
I'm sinking, sinking, sinking
As water fills my throat

I can't breathe
When the rope is tight
I'm swinging, swinging, swinging
I lunge towards the light

Losing the ground beneath my feet
The world flickers by
I keep flying, flying, flying
Then i

Awake, half machine
Like some twisted Frankenstein
If this is how it feels to be alive
I'd rather die
