A Letter From Heaven
Some months ago, a letter came, addressed to “Mom and Dad”;
It was sent down to us from Heaven, and Nico’s stamp it had!
We opened it real quickly, it was sealed with his kiss;
It said that he’d always love us, and, he truly did us miss!
Then he told us where he lived now, a very special place;
God named it “Doggie Heaven”, and blessed it with His grace!
He told us not to worry, that he was having such a blast;
He was playing with all his new friends, in days that ever last!
He was also having visits, with his Mommy up above;
Just like the one down here who raised him, the both of them he loves!
And he told us to tell Cody, his Brother, dear soulmate;
That when he comes to “Doggie Heaven”, Nico will meet him at the gate!
Then he said this place he lives in, is only just temporarily;
That when Mommy and I come to join them, all together we will be!
He said he’d write us another letter, once or twice a year;
But that his soul was watching over us, and staying very near!

That is gorgeous sweetie and it brought me to tears, not sad ones but happy ones because it`s a great comfort knowing that you both still feel his love and cuddles from heaven and I`m sure he`s having a great time up there with all his playmates. One day as you say in your letter he will come and collect you both and you`ll be able to have a great big party to celebrate. Death is not something to be frightened of, it is just another transition for our souls because we are immortal souls just having a human experience, but just like all things do, our bodies wear out and eventually brake down.
Well done for another beautiful tribute to little Nico and I know he`s very proud of his mummy and daddy and is sending you both his love right back to you and he always will, and I`m sending you both my love and hugs too.

That tell a sweet story for the whole world to see
Of a bundle of joy who`s such a treasure to me.
Your advice and love and the lessons that you teach
Are an inspiration to me and to the angels must reach.
I know you can read this little rhyme
And I hope the world will know right from the start
That you will always be forever in my heart.

Hi Auntie G,
Mommy and Daddy just sent me up your poem and they told me that it would bring some tears to my eyes, but they were wrong. For I've been crying an hour now that somebody loves me almost as much as Mommy and Daddy. Although I can't rate your poem with cosmofunnel, in my mind you'll always be a ten.
