A Letter To Older Generations
One day I swear...
We used to,
Used to be equal.
In value.Â
In importance.
In worth.
One day I swear...
There was a better life.
A bigger chance,
No spiteful strife.
Somewhere out there.
That mess of a planet that you left,
Will not survive another decade
Without your chaos
Or white lies.
These people you call “monsters”
Follow nothing but your role models.
The same Idols you set upon them.
To walk in their shadow,
Leaving behind even biggerÂ
more perminant footprints.
 Not because they thought to,
But because they were taught to.
And those standards you set upon us,
Are nothing but preassure,
Only made to reassure
That we will never "lose your trust",
Or we will never cease to lust
When all you ever do is just
Leave our happiness to rustÂ
And our history hidden in dust
Because beleive me, we will rise again
And when we do,
We will demolish this social strain.
And break this ugly chain.
Until we can sustain,
What we came for...

I hope you are right! You paint a fine accurate picture!
Why thank you :)
The beauty with social standards
That are causing you this mayhem
Is that now your new generation
Gets to remake them
And so it goes
We blame our parents
You blame us
Your children will blame you
Thank you kindly for your thoughts and may you have only good fortune.
