A Life Unexpected
Thinking of the good ,the bad,and the in betweens
Wondering what I did wrong or just living in a unexpected life of a dream
Searching for answers near, far even into the great beyond
My existence these past few years have been a burden with many sad tears
Shocked,in awe of how the past brought me down to my knees
Some days just pondering is there any joy out there to be found ?
Trust with my ex fell flat with lies spinning around the rings of Saturn can't you see
My guard is always up because I was hurt so much very very deep
Through all this debris I know you seek the man you first saw in me last summer
Funny,laughing no down times or tormenting insecurities
That guy is still here wanting to hold you next to my heart
This life unexpected has certainly taken me by surprise
I am sorry for all the pain I have caused you deep down inside
The truth is I still love you more than words can say
Even when my foolish nature gets in the way
One thing that I do know from the first moment I met you
I still love you with all of heart and never want to depart
