Serenity is here 
As the stars approach 
The midnight sky 
With the moon lighting the way 
 

To all points beyond
Here we all are 
Looking up to the heavens 
Forgetting all our fears 

Just knowing that 
God is always near 
Despite our own doubts and 
transgressions 

His love is real 
I can see it clearly 
In among the darkness 
That holds us so tightly 

When we let go 
And surrender it all 
There will be peace 
and tranquility for all mankind
