Poem -

A lifetime of trying

I watch you from afar, you like the water
You swim everyday, the water surrounds you

You swim every day, i have tried to do it too but i'm too scared, scared of the water and its unknown nature, scared it will swallow me whole, i have tried once but almost drowned since then my feet stayed on the ground.

You're an excellent swimmer, its like the water lets you glide right through, the water finds me disgusting, retreats with my every move.

I'm not meant to be a swimmer, nor will i learn, for a lifetime trying is worse then a lifetime walking

Being Me

What a terrible trauma to have endured! It's no wonder you do not like swimming!
