A LITTLE KINDNESS

There's so very little kindness 
In the world today
That when you try to be polite to someone
They might take your kindness the wrong way

Its easy to mistake being friendly
For being the same as flirting 
And some will assume that you are
Without taking the time to be certain

The world today is so unbalance with corruption
That People lifes are always edgly
And there's no trust amongst one another
With crimes and hate in every community

So when you do try to be polite to some one
Just trying to have a decent conversation and being friendly
Some people will think to their selfs
" is that person flirting with me" ?

And some times you can be rude to a person
Because of what you thinks in your mind
Todays lack of courtesy in human nature
Can make you suspicious even if someones being kind

Talking to the apposite sex
Is not flirting
Or starting a topic with someone you never knew before
And not because someone is talking with you
Means that they like you or wants something more

kindness is so seldom seen today
Kindness is like a disappearing act
Its like if " elvis has left the building"
And he ain't never coming back
   
And its not our faults
That we thinks like this 
We get use to living in our homes
Protected like its a fortress

Its the way of life now
Humans have lost their way
And you see the Reality of it
When you read the papers or watch the news every day

Today you dont know who to trust
So its better sometimes to stay in your place
And if any one trys to get close
You are always looking out for those with two face

But not every one hides a second face 
Some just want to have a decent conversation 
So try to know the difference first
Before mistaking kindness for flirting

Cause after all being said and done
There are some genuine honest people still
And when they shows a little kindness
They do it out of their own free own will

So do not confuse my kindness
And take it as flirtation
Because if was flirting with you 
Trust me there will be no confusion

We all need to give a little love
Its what we all need to do
The world needs a little love
A little love from me and you
