wishing on a star

He stares in the distance
thinking about a special girl
 she lives so far away
In another part of the world
She never said I love you before
Maybe she will tell him today
but he has her in his heart
and It's where she is going to stay
She sits on her bed tonight,
she is tired from a long day
She looks at a picture of a boy
that she loves in the USA,
She knows that she loves him
But she never told him it before,
But tomorrow, when she talks to him,
She will say to him it for sure.
He goes out with some friends
for an early morning country drive,
and his car was hit by a drunken driver
Now he is in a coma fighting for his life,
The doctor came out of the emergency room
With blood on his clothes
He said it’s much too early to say
Let’s wait and see how the surgery goes.
She knows that he loves her
because he tells her every day
And she wants him in her heartÂ
And she will never let him go away,
she looks at her cell phone
and she wonders where he is tonight,
while outside her window in the sky
a star shines so bright,
His parent hugged each other and cried
He was so very young
They buried him today in New York
with flowers on the ground,
She waited for his call every day
and she would cry to sleep every night
She didn’t tell him how much she loved him
And now maybe, he doesn't love her anymore
Depress and heartbroken
She thinks that he has forgotten her
But she will keep on wishing
Wishing, on a star,
Her broken heart couldn’t mend
so she seeks refuge at the holy convent
And taking care of the sick and needy
Was how the rest of her life was spent,
And when she died many years After
and she enters Heaven Gate
She sees him standing there
and he said "Do you know how long
I’ve stood here waiting for you.
