A lost love

Dedicated to a loss

A lost love

An ache
An a longing
A memory held dear
A spark of light
A darkness that surronded you
Finally parted a little girl at the end of the tunnel
Smiling a goofy smile
A laugh that broke the horror ringing in my mind
Watching her walk away her image fading into the walls
Forgotten an unknown the boys stands there remembering
He is older now an she has forgottenĀ
The pain is racking his body, his mind in shambles
Holding tight to the memory of a once forgotten peace
She looks past his kind soul, yet he has been there since the begining waiting for the love to return one day
Though he knows the pain will echo an he will be forgotten
His one true love left to love others unknown to her
The man who watched her grow alongside him one he held dear is falling apart waiting for her
But he not to worry for his end will come soon
For he has gone to a point of no return looking over the edge
an seeing nothing
decides to embrace the darkness spreading through his soul
