Ghosts of the Day

"Walls of Glass"

Ghosts of the Day

I awake
She's there
I reach out
But theres wall
Clearer than glass
Yet unbreakable
I watchΒ
Her leave
Something rips inside of me
It bucks to be free
Making me arch
And bow
I look upΒ
Crimson drops falling
Shining like stars
The dark
Crowds the cornersΒ
Waiting for there turn
Like students in line
He remembers his daughter
So big now
He’s alone
Dying
The black has swarmed
Stabbing
Piercing his soul
Leaving himΒ
BlackΒ
And
Gone

Fists...

Surounded by others
