A Maiden and her Prince 🌹

Her dancing partner held the hand of the prettiest girl he had ever seen, with her long flowing chestnut locks and those stunny eyes of emerald green...

Oh yes she was a stunner, this was definately true, although she lacked in self confidence so she didn’t have a clue..

Until that evening when she was sat on a riverbank admiring the view, a passerby came up to her from out of the blue..

He mounted off his white steed and stood by her side, and as he looked right into her eyes she wanted to hide..

Then he told her “I have travelled everywhere far and wide looking for someone like you to be my bride” 

She fluttered her eyelids and wanted to cry, and bowed her head as she gave out a sigh..

“Oh sir you are so extremely kind and such a nicer compliment would be difficult to find, but at this moment my heart belongs to another and she is replaceable my dear devoted Mother”.. 

The prince smiled and he shook his head and studied her reaction as he calmly said “ Oh fine maiden I shall not fear your Mother, nor will I ever come between any other lover..
