A MAN APART

A MAN APART

Whether we walk together
Or I walk alone
Destiny calls, and my answer is yes

To face the mountain’s height
Or plow the blizzard sea
To journey on coals of fire
I am committed to my beliefs

Call the sun in its fury
Let the thunder speak his piece
Summon the wind from the four corners
I am committed to my beliefs

Stand along the roadways
Stare into my tired eyes
Condemn my hope to achieve greatness
I remain committed to my beliefs

History will record my footsteps
Time shall edge my name
Your doubts and condemnation shall vanish
But my commitment will forever live.

Wilford Barker.

“To journey on coals of fire
I am committed to my beliefs”…
now, that’s some commitment!
And I am committed in always doing a fair comment. This is really good, Wilford. It has a meaning,
it flows and it’s also very positive.
Good work, man.
