A MANIFESTATION OF FAITH

A MANIFESTATION OF FAITH
A bird that lands upon a limb,
a snake that slithers on the ground,
a dog's tail wagging on a whim,
and seals that have a barking sound.
The clouds that float by to and fro,
those winds that blow through leaves of trees,
are all those mysteries that grow,
that makes us feel these pleasantries.
But when they're gone you hope to see
if even they’re not simply true,
that they are real and meant to be
'tis not that they aren’t there for you.
They are just hiding from your view,
but are in your mind as your heart.
So, when you need to see them through
just close your eyes and they will start
to materialize, right there,
in front of you, but, in your mind,
just all those things for you to share
with everyone of like and kind.
If this is not the faith you feel
in things that are not really there,
how is it they exist for real
when you can't see them in the air?
That is what faith is all about;
believing in things you can't see.
So never is one's heart in doubt
when faith is one’s reality.
An obligation worth its own,
in every form, strong type and way.
A faith once virtually grown
in us will exercise each day.
