A mission of a vision đź’•
Deep down a dark alley to that castle above the valley
Little Bartholomew hurried on with his big sister Sally
And though their apprehension showed as yon yellow moonlight glowed
This pair of little pilgrims were out on a mission of a vision, far away from their abode
They had crept out after midnight when their folks were asleep
Dare devilling the dark whilst grazing with the sheep
So long tall Sally with her knapsack on her back
And her brother Bartholomew were both braving the black
Yet the black wasn’t black at all, as that yellow moonlight yawned
Whilst the wind blew and whistled til’ that daylight dawned
And when they finally reached their destination
That sensational scenery was such a sheer thrill
When they climbed up the tallest turret of that curious castle on the hill…
