A new me

As i walk along beside the sea

The sand beneath my feet

I wonder if i 'll find me

I wonder who i'll meet

Faceless bodies hand in hand

Search the skys above

Lost souls in the sand

looking for some love

I buried me in the past

Because i couldn't cope

But now i understand at last

You can't just live on hope

Drink and drugs owned my soul

Darkness all around

To be free was my only goal

Hoping to be found

I took control heart and soul

I understood at last

Only i can reach my goal

If i walk away from my past

Look at me what do you see

The old me is now dead

Now i am a new me

Im living life instead
