At the edge, and inwardly hurled
Akin to man's touch upon the world
A fragile link amidst conviction
It is so, a cracked addiction

Residing in our ephemeral core
Forced outwards evermore
Its isolation, a folly fiction
Ever growing, grown addiction

Blindly found within salvation
A secret sound to every nation
Royally marked, "deciding decision"
Our humble ruler, ruling addiction
