A Poem About Christmas

A Poem About Christmas

Winter,
What do you think of?
Is it Christmas lights,
Hung in every single shop?
That's good,
A magical time of year.
Talented carol singers
Is something I always love to hear.
Santa flying,
Hundreds of feet in the air.
Everybody knows,
Presents aren't scarce.
This time of year,
Businesses will thrive.
Presents leave shops,
Like bees leaving a beehive.
It's stunning right,
Snow falling from the sky.
The Christmas tree stands in your room,
It doesn't matter if it's short or high.
Christmas is about the drinking,
It's about the cheering.
It's about how on that night,
Nobody is good at singing.
It's a time to chill out,
A time to relax.
The only downside with Christmas,
It takes a year to come back
