Dreams

Dreams,
Wonderful things. 

You go from being in a haunted house, 

To being in a boxing ring.

Go from mount everest,

To deep see diving,

Or, you could even be with a celebrity,

On a remote island.

It's all well and good, 

Until the dread kicks in.

And you start to have a nightmare, 

And your thoughts begin to spin. 

Someone goes missing, 

A family member dies, 

And although you know it's not real, 

You awake absolutely traumatised. 

But let's refrain from the bad,

And focus on the good.

But how can we,

When the nightmares start to flood.

No, we should not give in,

Ignore the temptation. 

People think we're incapable, 

But we are a formidable generation. 

Dreams are like ambitions, 

Hold onto the good ones. 

Persue your dreams, 

Don't let anybody say you're wrong.
