3 Years on Cosmos
3 Years a fish.
3 Years a poet.
3 Years a friend, a writer
Streaming words, into flowing…
Sentences. Seeming common in this day and age.
I used to be afraid -
Of my voice
Of my soul.
Still under construction
Not that anyone would know.
If it wasn’t for you.
So here are a few lines, for those that helped.
And made me into the person I am today.

And that is what this is, a wonderful gift Max and you are a gift to this site. Thank you for your kind words my friend, you have been an inspiration here on Cosmo. The years ahead are littered with endless possibilities for you. Just keep writing and being true to yourself. You have a fantastic mind and gift for wielding the written word. I loved the Cosmic video to this piece too Max. Fitting in so many ways as you really are taking off with your writing and from what I read, about to embark on adventures beyond the Cosmo atmosphere. Hi Gwen, thank you so much. As I said, I wouldnt have made it this far without you guys! You give me the energy and motivation to keep writing and swimming on. To be honest, I lose my voice from time to time and I still have so much to learn from you especially! Recently, I have made the decision to start writing and progressing with some bigger poetry projects as I plan to enter the world on Facebook, to get my name out there. It is people like you that make this place so special. Cosmo is a meeting place of artistic minds and it is with attitudes like yours that Cosmo will thrive. So many dear poetic friends can be found within these virtual pages and I really wish more posters embraced this as you have embraced it. Your writing has gone from strength to strength and I just know it will get even stronger. Congratulations again on your 3 years here. Tina, that is so very very true. Thank you so much, but I agree, to be honest, Cosmos wasn't the first site I visited before settling down. It has such a home like atmosphere that is so very different from social media... Tina, I must also thank you once again for chatting with me when i was down. I am only now seeing this Max and I want to tell you that you are a special and beautiful soul. I'm late to your party Max and salutations on your three years here and among so many members who respect and wish you well my friend.
For you are that rare breed apart of a poet who writes with a vigour and grit that's unsurpassed here.
And there's a flipside to you as well, your soulful flipside, that is so clearly evident in your poem Promise Me-Inspired by Gwen.
You write poetry that makes a reader think of his and hers place on this beautiful blue planet and for all the right reasons.
To take stock of their lives and reflect on.
A sense of purpose.
Here's to three more years Max and I raise my poetry glass to you.
You are a good man with a good heart.

And Max, we have a old saying here in Wales which is so apt for the man you are and how you inspire others,
It goes like this...

Hi Shaun, you are so well deserving of the honours in this write. I agree so much with your comment, I think it's important that whilst we have our precious time on planet Earth, we give a minute, an hour, a day, to reflect on our lives and how we want to improve. There's a huge bit of personal development in this. I think that's what poetry really helped me with over the last few years. Awesome tribute poem Max. I don't write much myself these days, hence I also don't visit Cosmofunnel, but I can so relate to this poem. It was the likes of Tony Taylor and Cherie just to name a couple who really inspired me to keep writing. I can't believe you've been on here for three years. Here's to another three 🍻🍾. I hope the ink well doesn't run dry as it almost has for me.
