Single Combat

Single Combat

Kitten’s kinda cute
till they grow claws.
“There’s nothing wrong with my camel’s back!”,
So, load another straw.

Don’t go marching down the street,
it’s a lost cause.
Too far gone to distract,
from another war.

But.

You’ll see me on the bulletin
and billboards.
Catching stray bullets,
like an outlaw.

I see inflated volatility – a chance for opportunity.
In every little contract,
there's a tiny flaw.

And I hate to come beating
down your door.
But there’s bull on the loose,
I’m the matador.

And if you can’t trust me now,
You are simply,

Not worth fighting for.
