A Resolution

My body aches, it trembles, shivers, as I am tormented inside, my thirst no longer satisfied
The unknown, the feeling of emptiness, crawling in a tunnel  of pain, frightened, no where to hide the shame
Terrified, the sense of loneliness, an empty food pantry, beneath this cellar of despair
The black widow spider, captures the fly, it mummifies it, breaking its wings, it preys on flesh, petrified
The phantom vulture, scavenger, indulges the bloody waste, ashes spread, smoldering fumes, from fire and flames
To resolve our differences, to find a safe place, without enemies, without isolation, to be free from this tumorous cancer
To fight the aftermath of darkest sky, to stand up to the depth of a volcanic molten blistering, scarring fire, to be stricken, without a mortal cause
To soar like an eagle, to give my heart to the fallen veteran, to the wounded, to the heroes, the soldiers
A twilight filled starship voyage, to see a new planet come to life, to discover a magnificent world, without disease or corruption
Reborn in peace, and tranquility, a united nation, to replenish our salvation, a harvest without starvation
A cure to heal, all wars, the terminal mass of destruction, to love again, to hold each other hands, in a world our children are safe, an end to violence in our teens,  a true resolution
