A Saturday

A Saturday

let me hold you close my love
allow our bodies to join each other
your soft breath will caress my head
my hair will cascade on your shoulder
i will hear your heart beating slow
everything will slowly disappear
both of us will fall asleep and dream
in the warmth of our bed we unite
so many beautiful hours of serenity pass
no rush of day, only beautiful night
yet day light creeps in to tear us apart
without mercy the day begins
slowly we being to stir from our slumber
our bodies no loner joint together
but today the morning sun won't win
this time morning won't tear us apart
i'm on my side facing the wall;
you roll around a pull me close
and together we shall sleep some more
