A Silver Lining

A Silver Lining

Every cloud has they say when I look at you today,
to grasp hope come what may in all love they say;
serendipity clung to me when I viewed my destiny,
send something good my way and please give to me.

Cumulus puffy and cotton-like, give me a strike,
looking heavenwards in summer riding on my bike,
lift me to your waspy levels and just take me away,
I feel good because you had some nice things to say.

Nimbus and stratus, hazy and low level do not faze,
even though your warnings noted, never fail to amaze,
I look for the silver linings, good within my asking soul,
without your directions, my earthly life wouldn't be whole.

Cirrus, high and wispy with white strands, how serene,
I miss you so much, mackerel dabs where have you been.

This is delightful Terry, you seem to have the sky well n truly sewn up .. I am a avid sky watcher myself .. and I love your mackerel dabs .. they are very reminiscent of Daphne du Maurier in my humblest of opinions .. AGT's to You n Yours .. Neville
